At Riverside Park Hotel
1: Pool Open
Yes the Pool will be open from the 29th June, All guests have complimentary use of the Leisure Club 8am – 8pm daily. Adhering to guidelines our Jacuzzi, Steam Room and Sauna will be out of service. Our Pool will now have reduced numbers and we will be providing allocated times during these periods to ensure you can enjoy the pool. The gymnasium will open from the 20th July.
2: Prom Bar
The Prom Bar will be operating on a restaurant basis from the 29th June to 19th July and will be serving the extensive Prom Bar Menu, alcohol can be served to tables while consuming food. The Prom Bar will open with full bar service incorporating social distancing and with table service only from the 19th July.
Yes, the playground adjacent the hotel which is a public playground is due to be open when the hotel opens. The playground will not be supervised and this will be up to the guardians or children to do so themselves.
4: Kids Club
Unfortunately, the kids club will not be running in the Riverside Park Hotel this summer for the safety of our customers as we feel it would impossible to expect kids to exercise social distancing.
5: Small Groups/ Family Groups
For Social distancing reasons there is a maximum number of guests allowed in all our dining outlets, extra space or dividers have been added between tables to ensure your safety. There are a limited number of tables that can accommodate up to 8 persons which need to be all part of the one household, under the current government guidelines. Otherwise Visiting ‘Groups of friends’ from different Households will be accommodated where possible at adjoining or nearby tables subject to availability. We may have to have a booking system in place for all dinner and bar reservations but we will be able to confirm that fully upon check-in.
6: Room Service
A room service menu will be provided, and alcohol can be provided when ordering your meal.
Breakfast will be served to your table in the Moorings restaurant from 7.30 am – 11 am daily. While our popular hot cooked breakfast has always been table service, there will now be an extended menu on offer to compensate for the removal of our regular cold buffet offering. There is likely to be designated time slot allocations for breakfast due to the Covid Protocols in place. We regret any inconvenience this may cause you for your visit but hopefully, it will not cause too much disappointment on any given day. It simply means you have to decide your preferred time for breakfast the night before and your preference will, of course, be subject to availability.
8: Entertainment in the Bar
At the time of writing government guidelines prohibit any entertainment in the Prom Bar.
9: Cleaning Procedures
We will be increasing all our cleaning, health and safety procedures in the Riverside Park Hotel.
Hourly touch points: door handles, lift controls, counters, bannisters, ATM.
After Use: Menus, Tables, Key Cards, credit card machines.
Cutlery, Crockery and Utensils are all professionally washed at 82oc.
Hand Sanitiser Stations: All Entrances, outside lifts, various points throughout the hotel.
Laundry: The Riverside Park Hotel has its own laundry where all linen, towels and cloths are washed professionally at 50 degrees with Aerial professional washing detergent.
Our revised cleaning regime of guestrooms will include a bespoke sanitisation treatment device referred to as a ‘fogging spray’, using Anolyte for an extra layer of sterilisation. This treatment is used in ‘Clean Room Technology’ throughout the pharmaceutical sector and some hospitals. Anolyte is electro-chemically activated water (ECA), a non-toxic yet highly effective disinfecting solution, sterilising viruses and other air and surface contaminants.
10: Social Distancing.
Social distancing is critical to all our safety and as a result we’re afraid we need to ensure protocols in this regard are strictly adhered to. Unfortunately, we will not be able to allow guests to move from one table to another. Children are truly welcome to the Riverside Park Hotel; we simply ask that they remain under adult supervision at all times and they cannot be allowed wander freely around the hotel or from table to table while they are with us this year. We appreciate that this will be a little difficult for the little ones to understand but we would ask all parents to appreciate that this imposition is totally necessary in the circumstances for the safety of all our guests and team alike.
11: Team Training
All staff have completed Covid-19 induction training and each department has received in depth training in how to keep their departments COVID -19 safe in relation to cleaning procedures and social distancing. We have a COVID 19 Leader overseeing a COVID 19 task force team whom are ensuring the safety measures implemented are adhered to throughout your stay with us.
12: Rejuvenate Treatment Rooms
Rejuvenate treatment rooms will re-open on the 29th June, please check rejuvenate page on website for all treatments.
