Our family staycation
Stayed in this lovely hotel for 2 nights with husband & 2 kids. The hotel is very welcoming. All safety precautions are in place for everyone’s safety and that is very reassuring. The room is lovely and beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here. Staffs are very good. We also meet the owner in 2 occasions during our breakfast at Moorings to ensure that we are satisfied with our STAY. Highly recommended. We will definitely go back.

Lovely spot, super staff, will come again
We were in a family room, it was spotlessly clean, we rang down and tea, coffee etc. was brought up. They have a great system where you fill in a card if you need new towels, tea, or other items and they are left at the door very handy.
You book the pool from 6pm for the next day and we had no issues with getting spots. It is by far pre and post-Covid the best breakfast service of any hotel I’ve stayed in. Nothing was a problem, portions are huge, so we ordered smaller the second day. We ate in the bar (as travelling with kids), highly recommend the Kilmore battered cod or Sea bass, both really nice.
Lots of cleaning of high touch points going on, sanitiser stations everywhere, I liked that we sat in the bar near the balcony so it was nice and airy. The staff were exceptional from check-in to check out.

Friendly, Spotless, Hassle-Free
We were a party of 5 adults and 4 children staying during the easing of COVID restrictions, and the staff were very helpful and understanding. The hotel was spotless from the carpark to the bedroom, with sanitising stations everywhere. Responsible hospitality, balancing safety with enjoyment.

Where do I begin? In this difficult Covid climate it’s very easy to be concerned about interactions with other people when booking into a hotel, eating in hotel restaurants, using hotel facilities etc. etc. Before I arrived here with my family I was sent information regarding Covid protocols in the hotel, that in itself gave me some peace of mind. Seeing those protocols being put in place so well on our arrival made all the difference. It’s obvious to me that every staff member in this stunning hotel has not only been Covid trained to a very high standard, but each and every one of them obviously takes that training very seriously, but does so in such a friendly manner it’s almost impossible to have any Covid concerns while on the property.
Just this morning while eating a delicious breakfast I watched our waitress clean down the table beside us after it had been used. She sanitised every surface meticulously, with real care, down to the legs of each chair, the salt and pepper mills etc. I was incredibly impressed at the attention to detail.I could genuinely spend all day, as a real foodie, speaking about how good the food is in the different restaurants here, we have had breakfasts here and eaten dinner in two different restaurants so far. Whoever the executive chef is that designed those menus obviously not only understands flavours but did it with family groups in mind.
Sorry if I’m rambling but when I’m happy with something I’ve paid for I’ll always sing its praises.

Sarah & Ivan – Wedding
My husband and I had the most amazing, magical time at our wedding and we cannot compliment you enough, never for a second did I feel rushed, everything was thought out and ran smoothly and I was made feel at ease with some words of encouragement from your staff at any nervous moments. We got a 5 star wedding, décor was so tasteful and light, service was flawless and the food was impeccable, enjoyed by all. Nothing was too much trouble. I felt proud to be there surrounded by friends and family and I just know we will be regular visitors to Riverside park hotel. Thank you so much.

We honestly can’t put in words how happy we are that we chose The Riverside Park Hotel as our wedding venue. Liz and all the staff could not have been more helpful in the run up to and the day of the wedding.
I never felt like any question or worry was too annoying and every single one of those silly worries that all brides have in the run up to the big day, table plans etc. melted away after a phone call or email to Liz, I was definitely not the most organised bride and not quite sure we would have pulled it off without Liz and the team 🙂
We didn’t have to worry about anything at all on the day e.g. I forgot to put entrance music on usb and one quick word to Liz and everything was sorted.
I had no worries at all that our guests would have any problems or not enjoy their day which allowed us to relax and enjoy it ourselves.
We really felt like royalty on the day every member of staff treated us so well and I loved the little touches such as making sure we went up to the room and took a breath to take it all in whilst the guests were being seated for dinner.
It really was one of the best days of our lives and our guests raved about the food and service for weeks after especially the beef!
The only downside to it all was after being treated like royalty it was hard to get back to reality and the amazing penthouse has kind of ruined other hotels for us now and given me notions!
