The Riverside Park Hotel will reopen it’s doors after it’s forced closure due to extreme weather conditions which were forecasted. However, it  was a one day wonder when floods lashed in all it’s paths as it raced with frigtening speed throughout the town of Enniscorthy.

Water spanning hundredsof yards across sped through Enniscorthy from the early hours of Saturday Morning into the early hours of Sunday morning. The Riverside Park  Hotel was closed and the area surrounding the hotel, along with the childrens palyground and the Promenade Walk were covered in water.

In View of the forecasted extreme weather conditions expected and the cancellations of practically all bookings The Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorthy decided on Friday 8^th January to close for business until Friday 22^nd January.

The Riverside Leisure Club will remain open during this short closure. The Hotel regrets any inconvenience caused due to this forced closure.

The Riverside Park Hotel and Leisure Club first opened it’s doors in April 1998 and has been thriving with business since, The hotel offers a wide choice of dining options from The Moorings Restaurant , The Alamo Tex Mex Bar & Grill, The Promenade Bar Food and Daily Carvery. All meals are prepared by their team of chefs under the watchful eye of Executive Head Chef Dave Anderson who is also with the hotel since it’s opening.

Although Enniscorthy is not the main attraction during the Festival it is host to The inaugural Operetta and Dinner by Candlelight as part of the Wexford Opera Fringe Festival. It will be hosted by The Athenaeum Restoration Fund committee will take place in the Riverside Park Hotel & Leisure Club Hotel on Thursday 22^nd October.
