The Riverside Park Hotel is located in Wexford in the sunny south east, one of the best weather conditions in Ireland, we are privileged to have access to the most superb ingredients right here on our doorstep for diary, vegetables, including potatoes and Wexford strawberries and with 275km of coastline in Wexford, the Riverside Park Hotel is spoiled for choice when it comes to sea fish.
We strongly believe in supporting our local community and are proud to serve our customers the best of Wexford local produce.

Our executive chef Dave Anderson has a huge passion for locally sourced Irish produce and uses them in each recipe he creates, Dave loves sourcing new local producers and working with Taste of Ireland to create some fantastic dishes supporting local Wexford food producers, see below for a selection of the food producers we had the pleasure of visiting last summer.
Atlantis Seafood Kilmore Quay
Atlantis of Kilmore Quay is one of Ireland’s largest seafood processor with over 25 years experience. It is an Irish family owned and managed business sourcing local seafood directly from Wexford fishermen we all know and trust. Atlantis process Irish seafood BRC accredited factory is, only a few minutes from Kilmore Quay fishing port, bringing fresh fish daily to the Riverside Park Hotel.
Killowen Farm
Killowen Farm, Wexford is an award-winning live yoghurt made using milk from their own herd of cows. Killowen Farm, situated at the foot of the Blackstairs Mountains in County Wexford, has been in the Dunne Family for over two-hundred years. They have a happy herd of dairy cows that graze the fields and provide the finest milk for our yoghurt.
The Killowen (Dunne) family want to make natural products that are not just healthy but are delicious also. Killowen never use preservatives or additives. Our natural yoghurt is as natural as you can get. It is made with milk and live cultures only – good bacteria which help keep your digestive system functioning well.
When making flavoured yoghurts, Killowen add real fruit to natural yoghurt, sourcing the fruit locally where possible. Although a small amount of sugar is added to our natural yoghurts, consciously limit the amount of sugar added, so that Killowen Farm yoghurt can be a healthy treat for all the family. Killowen Farm appreciate the environment.
Hence the use sustainable packaging whenever possible. Here at the Riverside Park Hotel we have 4 different flavours of yogurt for you at breakfast to enjoy along with our fabulous healthy yogurt compete pot.
O’Neills Dry Cure Bacon
We know the tastiest bacon is dry cured by hand in the traditional way with no added water or phosphates, that’s why here at the Riverside park Hotel we use o Neills Dry Cure Bacon from Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford
O Neill’s multi award-winning bacon (numerous Great Taste Awards, Blas na hEireann and Georgina Campbell Awards) is made with Irish Pork and is cured by hand in the traditional way using their unique family recipe with natural sea salt. There is 30% less salt than average wet cured rashers and as they don’t add water, no phosphates are needed. With O’Neill’s you get all meat, so when the bacon is cooking there is no shrinking on the pan for when we serve this delicious bacon to you at breakfast or shavings of bacon in our Prom Bar Menu.
Scup Gelato
When it comes to Ice-cream here in the Riverside Park Hotel we didn’t have to go very far to find the highest quality and tastiest gelato and sorbets on the market.
Scup Gelato is based in Wexford and uses only the highest quality raw material sourced locally and internationally, starting firstly with Irelands amazing milk and cream, authentic ingredients like fresh Wexford strawberries, seasonal fresh fruit, Sicilian Bronte pistachios and Madagascan vanilla to create a mixture which is churned into an amazing creamy, smooth and flavoursome gelato. Each flavour is made in small handmade batches to ensure ca and quality is given to every last tub. Dazzle your taste buds the next time you order a dessert with this delicious ice-cream.
Kearns Fruit Farm.
Kearns fruit farm, based in Enniscorthy Co. Wexford, is one of the largest suppliers of strawberries, raspberries and blackberries in Ireland, Wexford is well known for its Wexford Strawberries, due to Wexford’s sun shine, the berries are sweeter, at Kearns the fruit is grown in fields and heated glasshouses, water from natural wells help the produce taste even better. We are privileged here in the Riverside to have the freshest berries delivered daily during season to serve in all our restaurants, carvery desserts and Prom Bar cocktails.
Wexford Potatoes – K & K Produce
Here in Wexford we are spoilt with the weather, making it the perfect location for Potatoes, the soil is sandy, the winds are ideal, here in the Riverside we choose potatoes which are grown in K&K produce Kilmore in Wexford. These potatoes are picked in Autumn and stored in Wexford for the whole year, the potato is put to sleep and temperature monitored ensuring that the perfect potato is available to the Riverside Park Hotel all year round.
