At The Riverside Park Hotel
1: Face Coverings
Face coverings must be worn in the hotel at all times except for when dining or using the pool and gym.
2: Pool & Gym
Guests have complimentary use of the Leisure Club. A digital Covid certificate is required for use of the leisure club. Leisure Club opening times are Monday-Friday 6:30am to 9:45pm. Saturday & Sunday 7:30am to 6:45pm. Bank Holiday Monday 7:30am to 6:45pm. Adhering to government guidelines our Jacuzzi, Steam Room and Sauna are now available for use. Our Gym and Pool have reduced numbers and we will be providing allocated times during these periods to ensure you can enjoy the pool. Pool and Gym can only be booked once you check into the hotel.
3: Prom Bar
The Prom Bar is open with full bar service incorporating social distancing and table service. Under current government guidelines, there is a maximum of 6 people per table. ‘Groups of friends’ from different households will be accommodated where possible at adjoining or nearby tables subject to availability. Resident and non-residents are required to provide a Digital Covid Cert and I.D to dine indoors as per guidelines. The Prom Bar will close at 12 midnight under current government guidelines for residents and 8pm for non-residents.
4: Kids Club
Unfortunately, the kids club will not be running in the Riverside Park Hotel at this current time for the safety of our customers as we feel it would impossible to expect kids to exercise social distancing.
5: Breakfast
Breakfast will be served to your table in the Moorings restaurant from 7am to 10:30am Monday – Sunday. Covid certs are required for dining in the breakfast room. While our popular hot cooked breakfast has always been table service, there will now be an extended menu on offer to compensate for the removal of our regular cold buffet offering. Designated time slots are given for breakfast, you will need to pre-book this, a pre-stay email will be sent with links for you to book directly. We regret any inconvenience this may cause you for your visit but hopefully, it will not cause too much disappointment on any given day. It simply means you have to decide your preferred time for breakfast.
6: Hotel Restaurants
The Alamo Steakhouse and Moorings Restaurant (dinner inclusive packages) are now available to book through our res diary system. The links for the Alamo Steakhouse and the Moorings Restaurant will be sent to guests in their pre-stay email 4 days prior to arrival. Under current government guidelines, there is a maximum of 6 people per table. For non-residents, under the current Government guidelines closing time is at 8pm.
7: Cleaning Procedures
We will be increasing all our cleaning, health and safety procedures in the Riverside Park Hotel.
Hourly touchpoints: door handles, lift controls, counters, bannisters, ATM.
After Use: Menus, Tables, Key Cards, credit card machines.
Cutlery, Crockery and Utensils are all professionally washed at 82oc.
Hand Sanitiser Stations: All Entrances, outside lifts, various points throughout the hotel.
Laundry: The Riverside Park Hotel has its own laundry where all linen, towels and cloths are washed at the recommended Health Guidelines.
8: Social Distancing
Social distancing is critical to all our safety and as a result, we’re afraid we need to ensure protocols in this regard are strictly adhered to. Unfortunately, we will not be able to allow guests to move from one table to another. Children are truly welcome to the Riverside Park Hotel; we simply ask that they remain under adult supervision at all times and they cannot be allowed wander freely around the hotel or from table to table while they are with us this year. We appreciate that this will be a little difficult for the little ones to understand but we would ask all parents to appreciate that this imposition is totally necessary in the circumstances for the safety of all our guests and team alike.
9: Team Training
All staff have completed Covid-19 induction training and each department has received in-depth training in how to keep their departments COVID -19 safe in relation to cleaning procedures and social distancing. We have a COVID 19 Leader overseeing a COVID 19 task force team who are ensuring the safety measures implemented are adhered to throughout your stay with us.
The Riverside Park Hotel has achieved the Failte Ireland COVID 19 Charter for Safety.
10: Cancellation
In the event, the hotel has to close as a directive from the government all cancellation fees will be waived. Your safety is our priority at the Riverside Park Hotel and we want to ensure you that all government guidelines will be adhered to while the hotel is open.
