I went on a overnight stay with my husband. From the minute we walked in the front door we were warmly welcomed by very friendly staff. The room was beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable which is something that makes a big difference to me when I stay in a hotel. 10/10. The room was very clean too. The food was exceptional l must say. We had two meals in the bar, one early evening and dinner later on and again 10/10. I had the chicken curry and my husband had the haddock. The staff in the bar were very helpful and pleasant which is what makes your stay all the better. The same can be said for the staff for breakfast this morning. Great family experience. From start to finish the staff were amazing. Special mention to Blathnaid who was very helpful at breakfast time and Jack who showed such kindness and humanity when my boys had to miss kids club due to a medical emergency. The staff were wonderful. They were very attentive with the egg allergy sufferer we had in our family. Breakfasts were great. Rooms were comfortable. Bed a bit hard. Overall a lovely holiday. The hotel is ideal for kids. The kids club was a mix of activities and age appropriate films. The girls who worked the kids club were patient and kind. This was a family outing for some of our Grandchildren to visit the nearby Santa Experience.
As always, the reception team are very welcoming, and because had arrived quite early, our rooms were not ready. No problem at all, as we needed to have lunch, and the Promenade Bar is the perfect place to have a tasty bite. Noeleen was particularly welcoming and combines a genuinely delightful and caring personality with a watchful eye to ensure that impeccable service is in place.
The very helpful reception team later rang to say the rooms were ready, and we collected our keys. As always the housekeeping team do a fantastic job, and are also very friendly indeed.
After the visit to Santa, everyone was looking forward to dinner and we returned to the Promenade bar, found a table big enough for our group of 8. Jenny was our server, and despite being a trainee, she looked after our order really well. Nothing was too much trouble, and Jenny was a pleasure to deal with throughout the evening.
Many of the staff recognise us as regular guests, and always make the time to greet us, have a word, and this is one of the hotels greatest strengths.
The following morning, we had breakfast in the Moorings, where Kayleigh was delighted to see us and quickly showed us to a table. On hearing that one of the children was unwell, and my daughter couldn’t make if down for breakfast, Kayleigh immediately arranged a breakfast to be sent up to the room. This is another example of Kayleigh’s customer service excellence and kind nature, and we were really touched by her thoughtfulness.

Our Standard Family Rooms feature either one double and one single bed with a pull out bed, or two double beds, accommodating up to two adults and two children or one adult and three children. Two double bed layouts are limited and subject to availability.
For families who appreciate a little extra space, our Superior Family Rooms provide generous layouts designed with comfort in mind. Accommodating two adults and up to three children, these rooms include one double bed and three single beds, along with thoughtful touches such as dividing walls, individual televisions and headsets to help everyone enjoy their own downtime.
