Job Title: Front Office Assistant Manager
Reports To: Front Office Manager
The Riverside Park Hotel & Leisure Club are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Office Assistant Manager to join our team. Front Office Assistant Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk, providing exceptional guest service, and supporting the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Guest Relations:
- Greet guests upon arrival and ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Assist in resolving guest issues and ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
2. Front Desk Operations:
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Supervise reception team and ensure they adhere to hotel policies and procedures.
- Coordinate room assignments and ensure accurate billing for all guest transactions.
3. Team Leadership and Training:
- Assist in training new reception team members on hotel procedures, customer service
standards, and use of hotel systems. - Provide ongoing coaching and support to reception team members to enhance their
performance and guest service skills. - Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among reception team.
4. Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and financial
transactions. - Assist in inventory management for front desk supplies and collateral.
5. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure adherence to brand standards and service excellence at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections of front desk areas to ensure cleanliness and organisation.
- Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard guest information and hotel
assets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry,
preferably in a front office/reception setting. - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for delivering
outstanding guest service. - Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hotsoft Experience Desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with a proactive approach to
problem-solving. - Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
