Job Title: Reception Supervisor
The Riverside Park Hotel & Leisure Club are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Office supervisor to join our team. The supervisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk, providing exceptional guest service, and supporting Manager and Reservations Coordinator in overseeing daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Guest Relations:
- Greet guests upon arrival and ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Assist in resolving guest issues and ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
- Front Desk Operations:
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Supervise reception team and ensure they adhere to hotel policies and procedures.
- Coordinate room assignments and ensure accurate billing for all guest transactions.
- Team Leadership and Training:
- Assist in training new reception team members on hotel procedures, customer service standards, and use of hotel systems.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to reception team members to enhance their performance and guest service skills.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment among reception team.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and financial transactions.
- Assist in inventory management for front desk supplies and collateral.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure adherence to brand standards and service excellence at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections of front desk areas to ensure cleanliness and organisation.
- Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard guest information and hotel assets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a front office/reception setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
- Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hotsoft Experience Desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
